Job Summary

Responsible for optimizing HRIS systems to meet organizational requirements, identifying opportunities for automation,
reduction of manual processes, and simplification of processes that help drive accuracy and completeness. Process human resource information using the most efficient and cost-effective computer systems and applications. Research, analyze, design and maintain information systems in support of human resource administration and projects. Monitor HR information needs and design new or modify existing systems to meet changing requirements. Contribute to system decision-making, scoping and planning for HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy.
Lead small and medium system upgrades, feature release, interfaces and data conversion projects across functional areas of HR and provide
direction for project team members. Lead projects and teams related to HR Technology. Support users by monitoring and resolving data integrity issues, ensuring the accuracy of HR information entered into the system and testing new features of the system as they are implemented to verify accuracy of HR procedures. Partner with HR Process Owners to provide training on new systems, processes and reporting tools.  Ensure appropriate documentation and training materials.

• Serve as an advanced subject matter expert for HRIS modules/functional areas and actively participate in design, planning, implementation and support of HR systems. Act as SAP HR Module expert and perform root cause analyses and perform problem resolution of all issues.
• Review and test upgrades and patches to current systems.  Determine the appropriateness of optional functionality enhancements. Lead, coordinate and perform system analysis, design, build, test and implementation of SAP HR and SuccessFactors projects.
•  Lead and coordinate system analysis, design, build, test and implementation of HR technology projects
• Provide guidance to HR Business Partners (generalists) and conduct HR Technology Training for HR personnel and client user groups.
• Manage, support and administer the HR Technology portfolio including system life cycle planning and review, documentation of system functionality including identification of systems that store personally identifiable information.  Ensure adequate controls to protect confidential employee information.  Conduct periodic entitlement reviews to ensure appropriate access to systems.  Assist with audits of employee master data.
• Act as a delegate in reviewing and approving SAP and other security access for confidential information.
• Interface with Information Technology and Payroll partners on systems implementations, testing, new functionality, etc.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment processes for current and new vendor / system considerations.

• Bachelor's Degree; with 4 years of experience OR in lieu of degree; 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant work experience includes:
•      Functional/business knowledge in HR business processes
•      Experience/strong knowledge of HR Technology Systems and their   interdependencies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and teamwork skills, including ability to communicate analytics to a non-technical audience. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid project management skills and ability to lead special projects and ability to multitask (i.e., upgrades, major organizational changes, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS-Excel macros, MS Visio and MS Access Database

Desired:
• Experience with SAPHR (PA/PD)
• Advanced knowledge of HRIS software, such as SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Workday etc
