Job Summary

Acquire, Manage, Adminster and Dispose of Company Property and Property Rights to protect, preserve, and maximize the value of Company property and property rights on a range of projects. Provide assistance to Company stakeholders on real estate projects.  Provides assistance to Sr Real Estate representatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, investigate, and resolve property issues relative to Company operations including adequacy of existing rights and property rights restriction lists (as well as research, examine and interpret public records and plans).
  • Prepare documentation, negotiate and execute real estate transactions of all degrees of complexity Sale of land, Grant of Easements, Release of Easements, Licenses, Leases, Assent Agreements) in order to protect, preserve, and maximize the value of Company property and property rights while complying with Company rules and guidelines.
  • Provide real estate support in the citing of facilities, future planning, lists/notifications, environmental issues, analysis/valuation advice and property records/rights.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key real estate stakeholders in order to share best practice, provide technical advice and build bases of influence.
  • Manage the day to day relationship with customers, developers, engineers, public officials, real estate brokers, attorneys, and others to facilitate property transactions, understand their requirements, deliver appropriate, customized solutions and advice.

Job Specific Qualifications


  • A Bachelor's degree preferably in Business/Real Estate/Paralegal Studies/Economics/Surveying with 2 years' experience in property and property rights , or in lieu of a degree 4 years' property and property rights experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledgeable in SAP.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and other assignments at the same time.
  • Understanding of engineering and survey plans, maps, title reports and related design drawings, deeds, legal contracts and appraisal reports. Able to research relevant records and plans.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry practice and legislation. Knowledge of current trends within property and developments in legislation or regulation (within and beyond the region where required).


  • Completion of professional level courses in Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Law, Contracts, Title Examination, Negotiation, Appraisal, Environmental or related educational concentrations.
  • Proficient in relevant property  systems (GIS and Mapping)
  • Notary Public
