Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: the creation of daily, weekly, monthly reports for Credit and Collections department.  Formulate various forecasts as they relate to Days Sales Outstanding, Net Write – Off and other financial performance metrics.  Analyze data, determine trends, and develop reports as requested by management.  This position may be responsible to create Access Databases and work management tools.

•    Review/create reports, tables and databases to determine inconsistencies and/or irregularities.
•    Investigate and develop solutions to requests. 
•    Develop and generate ad hoc reports and scorecard reports from existing systems that support informational needs of management and/or operating personnel. 
•    Develop and/or enhance existing spreadsheets/databases. 
•    Collect, summarize and analyze various reports and performance measures. 
•    Prepare reports (daily, monthly, annually, and ad hoc). 
•    Actively participate in problem solving initiatives to determine root cause, gap analysis, along with the development and implementation of process improvement recommendations. 
•    Provide timely feedback to determine effectiveness of implemented solutions and take corrective action as required. 
•    Investigate client/customer concerns, issues and problems to determine root causes. 
•    Provide timely solutions through direct interaction or by facilitating user teams to develop and modify work process flows. 
•    Solicit feedback from users to determine effectiveness of implemented solutions and take corrective action as required. Recommend solutions and develop action plans. 
•    Reconcile data transfer between systems. 
•    Generate month end reports utilized in the Customer Contact/ Collections process related to safety, customer satisfaction, performance, quality, productivity, availability, and other related scorecard targets.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills, Competencies and Education:

  • Bachelor degree and a minimum of 7 years of analytical experience.  In lieu of a degree those with a minimum of 11 years of equivalent analytical experience may be considered.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Tableau
  • Must possess well developed planning, organizational, leadership and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience motivating the workforce and fostering a team Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with others to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and a safe driving record

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Knowledge of Credit and Collections
  • Knowledge of SQL
