Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain and Materials Management processes for the station, including managing supply chain logistics and physical inventory at the site's storeroom.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ship and receive equipment and material.
  • Material receipts, inspections, labeling, put-aways, issues/deliveries, returns, repairable and physical inventory.
  • Coordinate with scheduler/planner/vendors of parts received to facilitate workflow process.
  • Balance customer demands for quality and timeliness with cost efficiency and other resource constraints.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the plant's processes, proper accounting requirements and the sourcing, logistics and payment processes as well as the supply chain sub-processes
  • Provide internal/external audit support and information to Accounting groups.
  • Manage consistent storeroom policies and procedures.
  • Analyze, maintain and update Shelf-life program.
  • Ensure storeroom equipment and asset materials are properly secured, managed and inventoried in compliance with department and regulatory requirements.
  • Check out and return inventory items.
  • Monitor staging

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills, Competencies, Education and Experience:
  • HS Diploma, GED or 2 additional years of related work experience
  • 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Licensed Forklift operator
 
Desired Skills, Competencies, Education and Experience:
  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley controls

Working Conditions

  • Work extended hours during maintenance events, emergencies and/or as needed.
  • Associate will be trained for Fork Lift operation and certification
  • Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and varying hours.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms, (elevations of 30 feet).
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds in awkward positions and 50 pounds from the floor to the waist.
