PSEG is seeking an intern in our  Electric Operations team located in Clifton, NJ.  

 

 The summer interns will be supporting the Electric Operations team in numerous areas, including:

Perform varied analytical/engineering related assignments on work in connection with the construction, operation and maintenance of utility systems within the Engineering & Resources Department.

 

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. Candidates must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.  PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration.  Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.

 

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0 staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, Immigration Support will not be provided with this position.

 

 

 

 

As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
