PSEG is seeking an intern for the Construction Inquiry Department in the Cranford, NJ location.

This position will support PSE&G's Construction Inquiry operations.  Potential assignments may include but are not limited to: 

         - Prepare reports (daily, monthly, annual, and ad hoc)

         - Actively participate in data analysis and problem solving initiatives

         - Enhance existing spreadsheets/databases through data visualization

         - Collect, summarize and analyze various reports and performance measures

         - Track progress and results of various process improvement initiatives

         - Upload and maintain data in scorecard databases

         - Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives to develop and implement recommendations

         - Participate in gap analysis and customer complaint investigatory process

         - Develop insights from various data sets to prioritize action plans and improve performance 


Required Education/Skills:  The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Econ, or related field from an accredited 4 year institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. Candidates must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.  Must have excellent analytical capabilities and be proficient with MS Office.  PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration. 


All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0 staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, or immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions now or in the future.


As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
