Job Responsibilities

Materials & Logistics Intern (1) to perform:
1.    Procedure Updating: Update procedures per reviews with Department Managers & Supervisors, ensure alignment throughout the procedure with actions and job responsibilities.
2.    Track compliance calendar activities and provide updates to M&L Management and Compliance Analysts.
3.    Gather and trend FASA results year over year by storeroom.
4.    Assemble results of audit readiness review across Electric and Gas vs. previous findings.
5.    Matrix Worksite inspection results from all storerooms to look at trends, common gaps, and actions taken.
6.    Assist is completion of SOX program deliverables including annual Fraud Risk Assessment.
7.    Generate weekly flash reports that summarize inventory counts completed, inventory value changes and personnel availability and overtime.
8.    Provide analysis evaluating physical inventory count accuracy and adherence to compliance guidelines.
9.    Monitor Open Transfers to completion by communicating with field supervisors.

 

Job Specific Qualifications

The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Accounting. Candidate must have completed junior level coursework by the start of the internship program to be considered. 

PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education, which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Because this position requires driving to various PSEG Locations, a valid driver's license and safe driving history.

Preferred Skills: 3.0 GPA.
 
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period and as business needs warrant. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students (must be enrolled at the commencement of the internship program) Housing, transportation, immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
