Job Summary
The Organizational Effectiveness (OR) Consultant is responsible for providing strategic oversight, governance and leadership to drive station performance in the assigned functional area of Organizational Effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
•As (OR) Consultant you will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, governance and leadership to drive station performance in the assigned functional area of Organizational Effectiveness.
•The OR Consultant is accountable for performance outcomes, including leadership and team effectiveness and overall station performance.
•Responsibilities include systematically overseeing and routinely evaluating leader and team behaviors of senior leadership team, middle managers and first-line supervisors and supporting alignment to common station and fleet strategic initiatives.
•This individual will report to the Organizational Effectiveness Manager and will ensure that all department gaps to excellence are resolved using industry-proven tools.
•Additional responsibilities include representing PSEG Nuclear with INPO and other industry groups that evaluate PSEG Nuclear performance and provide industry leadership in support of industry performance improvement.
•The OR Consultant is a key dedicated member of the Nuclear Fleet Peer Group Governance and Oversight team supporting the Organizational Effectiveness Peer Groups.
Job Specific Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience as it relates to education), a minimum of seven years of experience in commercial nuclear power, with at least 5 years of experience in Performance Improvement, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness/Development , Operations or other technical leadership experience.
•Although this position has no direct reports, the OR Consultant is responsible for managing results through all other parts of the organization.
•This position requires very strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to hold others accountable for team success.
•The ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives, see issues from a strategic perspective and drive results on a tactical level is essential.
•This position requires a strong foundation in processes, standards and behaviors of effective leaders and teams.
•Understanding of nuclear performance improvement programs, nuclear regulation and INPO assessment processes. Must meet the requirements for and maintain unescorted access.
Desired Skills:
•Senior professional human resources certification (SPHR), Operation license, management certification or system engineering certification preferred.
•Experience working with senior and executive nuclear leadership teams preferred.
