As the CFAM Manager-Training you will provide Governance, Oversight and Support of the Salem and Hope Creek training organizations, to provide consistent training program implementation in accredited and non-accredited training programs in the areas of Operations, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Chemistry and Engineering to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient activities consistent with Nuclear Corporate and Station goals. As Manager responsible for supporting site training, establishing and reinforcing standards and expectations for Nuclear personnel and other interfacing personnel to ensure an error free and professional work environment.                                                                                                          


Responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing training strategies for Nuclear that align with the regulatory and business needs of PSEG Power

Implementing industry experience and best practices through procedures and policies

Proactively managing external relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders

Managing key training performance metrics relative to processes, business plan initiatives, and station cost/budgets driving to continuous performance improvement

Overseeing the development of business plans and detailed budgets for the training organizations to support the training needs of Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations

Participating with Sr. Management in the formulation of Nuclear Training strategy and policy

Overseeing the conduct of all accredited and non-accredited training programs within the Operations and Technical areas such as Chemistry, Radiation Protection, Engineering and Maintenance

Accountable for consistently monitoring training processes and performance to assure training programs are implemented at or above the INPO Accreditation standards

Providing oversight of the resources required to develop examinations in support of the license operator programs

Other duties as assigned by the Performance Improvement such as Delivering the Nuclear Promise, KT&R, etc.


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  •  7 to 10 years increasingly responsible professional experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Training and training programs, accredited and non-accredited
  • Established relationships with external agencies, industry experts. SRO License or certification
  • Must meet Nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access.

  • Previous training experience
