Summer Interns: College students are hired based on strategic university recruiting needs as identified on an annual basis. The intern period is a minimum of 10 weeks, beginning June 3, 2019 and ending Mid- August.
 

Duties include (but not limited to):

 

  • Support each project’s management team to provide an effective integrated cost and schedule monitoring program.
  • Assist in the development of financial, schedule, estimate, budget, resource, procurement, risk and other data within Primavera P6.
  • Assist in analyzing schedule information to ensure projects meet required in service dates.
  • Assist in the development of financial, schedule, estimating, work/resource management, procurement and document management methods and databases.
  • Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management’s expectations for effective internal business controls.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Review budget with management so a plan can be made to safely plan future spending catagories.
  • Review SAP backlogs and eliminate orders that or no longer active.
  • Review work orders and check settlement rules to endure proper accounting.
  • Work in OMS blue sky bucket to review jobs and make customer contact.

 

Education and Qualifications:

Required:

  • College level rising Juniors and Seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher seeking a Business degree.
  • This position requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Autocad would beneficial.
