PSEG is seeking an Intern to help support the Business Center team.  The Business Center team works comprises of Payroll and Employee Services group. Project initiatives include process mapping and documentation, Improvement projects, Auditing, and administrative tasks.

 

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance or Economics with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidate must have completed Sophomore level course work for consideration. Candidate must have demonstrated leadership, project management & public speaking. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a safe driving record where required.

 

Preferred Skills: Exposure to auditing and process documentation methodologies.

 

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, Transportation, Immigration Support will not be provided for this position. 

 

As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
