Job Summary

This is a multi-level growth series position (Business Support Specialist, Grade Level 26/Process Analyst, Grade Level 27).  Placement is dependent upon the skills and experience of the candidate.

Job Responsibilities

At the Business Support Specialist Level:
Provide technical and analytical expertise and support to PSE&G process owners relative to Customer Operations processes which interact with Renewables & Energy Solutions’ Clean Energy Future (CEF) programs. Create and maintain reports and analytics to monitor operational performance in support of CEF, including call metrics, staffing plans, new business projects status updates. Respond to external and internal data requests related to energy efficiency and electric vehicle requests, including but not limited to customer usage, demand, location specifics, etc.  Develop and provide reporting to supervision and management.  Draft process documentation.  Develop presentation materials.                                                                                                             
At the Process Analyst Level:
All of the above as well as:
Play a leadership role in the project interaction and formal understanding of the related components, set up meetings with external and internal counterparts.  Lead and facilitate process improvement teams and document processes, procedures and work instructions. Prepare status reports for management, developing appropriate communication materials. Provide technical expertise and support to process owners and department associates. Drive improved user experience and operational results, utilizing leadership skills, data analysis and strong understanding of the business strategies. Foster the refinement, understanding and enhanced utilization of process and procedural measures and benchmarking.
 

Job Specific Qualifications

Job Requirements:
Required at Business Support Specialist level:
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Operations or similar area
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Access), SAP-CCS, SAP Business Warehouse, SalesForce.
• Knowledge of Distributive Work Management System (DWMS), module of SAP
• Strong organization skills; ability to build and maintain effective partnerships within and across organizations.
• Strong analytic capability and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external associates.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.


Required at Process Analyst level:
All of the above as well as:
• 5+ years relevant work experience
• In-depth knowledge of the Customer Operations or related area
• Ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong critical  thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Able to prioritize multiple assignments and keep many responsibilities moving forward simultaneously
• Presentation skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of DWMS, Excel, Access, Microsoft Office, SAP-CCS, SAP Business Warehouse
