Job Summary

This is a hands-on supervisory position. Supervises and provides technical guidance and direction to the SAP Security application support teams for activities required to support a large, complex portfolio of SAP applications.  

Please note this position is hybrid, comprised of remote and in office work.  PSEG reserves the right to amend the hybrid model at any time.

  • Supervises, guides, and provides SAP Security design, development, analysis, operational support, and problem resolution for the SAP applications.  
  • Designs, develops and maintains SAP user management and security architecture across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.  
  • Ensures compliance with government and corporate security guidelines including Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), 10CFR810 and Privacy related standards. 
  • Develops and implements SAP security policies, processes, architecture, training, and communications.  
  • Performs supervisory duties including career development, coaching and counseling, and performance and compensation management.

     

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and at least six (6) years of experience in an SAP development or operational role
•Extensive knowledge SAP Security design, administration and configuration
•Excellent analytical ability
•Strong judgment
•Strong planning and organizational skills
•Knowledge of project management disciplines
•Excellent consultative skills and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants, and vendors
•Knowledge of process dependencies and linkage across the company
•Strong interpersonal and team building skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.

Desired Skills:
•Advanced degree in Information Systems or Masters of Business Administration
•Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
•SAP GRC experience

•High Level Access background check required
•24 X 7 callout availability required
