PSEG is looking for Salesforce Certified Developer with at least 4 years of experience on Salesforce.com platform to join our team to build innovative solutions for Customer Relationship Management, and other areas using latest Salesforce technologies. The successful candidate must have prior Salesforce technical expertise in product design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce products – ServiceCloud, SalesCloud, MarketingCloud, and Einstein Analytics. The candidate must have experience with integration of Salesforce with backend systems such as SAP/Mainframe using MuleSoft middleware.  This position is a direct report to Group Product Manager – Smart Services and works in the area of Customer Care and Call Center technologies.

• Works with Clients to configure/develop, and deploy Salesforce products and applications through the PSEG’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using CMMI processes in Agile Methodology, inclusive of identifying, specifying and analyzing business requirements and processes and managing progress throughout the application design, test and implementation process.

• Works with Product teams in Two Pizza Team approach similar to Amazon product development and CICD model.

• Ensures alignment with Clients on scope, value proposition and overall product goals throughout the SDLC. Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support in a Two Pizza Team environment.

• Develops and implements process improvements, Next Best Actions, Automation opportunities, and Pro-active communications for customer care applications

• Serve as the subject matter expert for technical and solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of complex Salesforce environments.

• A thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform with the ability to interact with business users to understand requirements in order to translate them into design specifications

• Salesforce administration, release management, and deployment expertise

• Ensures quality through the use of PSEG IT company-approved methodologies.

• Configure, Design, Develop using Visualforce, Apex, API, SOQL, Workflows, MuleSoft, and other development tools provided by PSEG

• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, REST API’s and Angular

• Performs Code reviews and provides independent assessment and technical review to validate adherence to best practices and design principles that would be compliant with PSEG standards.

• Works under tight deadlines and handle multiple detail-oriented tasks

• Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT, including leading the introduction of best practices.

• Identifies and drives issues through closure.

• Identifies potential risks and suggests remediation controls.

Required Skills, Competencies, Education and Experience:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information/Computer Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

• This is a multi-level position and placement is dependent upon skills, knowledge and experience of the selected candidate. 

o Salesforce Developer  – at least 4 years of experience within technology

o Salesforce Sr Developer  – at least 6 years of experience within technology

• At least 4+ year's previous experience as a developer in a complex environment on the Salesforce Platform.

• 2 or more years of experience with designing software & hardware solutions used in large enterprises including new technologies, infrastructure, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions

• 2 or more years of proven experience supporting and coaching other developers

• Must have suitable Salesforce certifications. Having Salesforce certifications will greatly improve the chances for a successful application

• Direct experience with Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and practices.

• Experience designing and developing software components specifically with Salesforce.com platform is required.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations is required.

• Understanding of Salesforce Architecture for various Salesforce products – SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, MarketingCloud, and Einstein Analytics.

• Development experience in ServiceCloud, Marketing Cloud, SalesCloud, Einstein Analytics, and Einstein Data Discovery is required, including Rest Integrations, App Exchanges apps, Bootstrap framework etc.

• Good knowledge of web services and integration. Knowledge of Integrating with middleware tools specifically MuleSoft is required.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations is required.

• Proven experience in very large Salesforce.com implementations with multiple integrations including web services, legacy applications, app exchange, etc.

• Proficiency in programming using Force.com APEX, Visual Force, Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML5 and the use of these tools with Salesforce.com.

• Strong knowledge of UI enablement in Salesforce.com including Lightning UI paradigm

• Strong knowledge with configuration, customization, and programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from inception of license purchase.

• Experience with a variety of ETL tools including Force.com Data loader, MuleSoft Dataweave.

• Experience with management of Salesfore.com sandboxes, including their integrations.

• Proven ability to learn new products, develop technical knowledge and apply new skills in a high paced environment.

• Excellent knowledge of Salesforce Administration and Development.

• Security / Permissions Management experience

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple detail-oriented tasks

• Ability to be effective in an environment of rapid change and complexity.

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to foster working relationships with the team, IT Management and Client departments,

• Knowledgeable of techniques to effectively elicit requirements from end-users, individually or as a group (e.g. JAD sessions, prototyping, etc.),

Desired Skills, Competencies, Education and Experience:

 

• Preferred Master's Degree in Computer Science

• Experience developing business process flows and soliciting business requirements

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and/or project management

• Certifications in Project Management (PMP etc...)

• Experience with CMMI

• Understanding of basic financial principles including experience with project financial budgeting and planning

• Certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS certified solutions Architect associate

• Working with offshore Teams to build cost effective solutions
