The objective of this position is to create and manage a well-defined, well-documented process to ensure that accounts receivable contractual/lease administration and collection and objectives are met and to drive efficient and effective collections and driving additional revenue.

Manage and oversee the integrity and quality of all aspects of the accounts receivable process for real estate leases including:

  • Developing, improving and managing the Real Estate accounts receivable process across the enterprise
  • Develop monthly billing
  • Develop collection policy for management approval
  • Drive collections
  • Market recommendations
  • Holistic portfolio review
  • Ensuring accurate accounting, monthly close and related reports the AR real estate leases

 

In addition provide support to PSEG Lessee leases (Accounts Payable) which includes:

  • Support for Real Estate and equipment lease set up
  • Lease Payment schedules
  • Lease documentation

 

Required Qualifications, Competencies, Education or Experience:

 

  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or a minimum of six years related experience.
  • Three to five years of lessor leasing and or related accounts receivable experience
  • Power/Distribution/Transmission Construction experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to: (a) appropriately assess contractual risk and implement risk management strategies; (b) implement. measures and methods to tie payment to performance; (c) monitor and manage cost and change; and (d) define and manage deliverables and respective responsibilities between the Company and the contractor.
  • Demonstrated understanding of lessor leases.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory, as well as a sound understanding of project management and scheduling.
  • Solid analytical abilities. change to skills
  • The ability to interact with business leaders, associates and lead teams.
  • Demonstrated use of technology to improve process including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

 

Desired Qualifications, Competencies, Education or Experience:

 

  • Experience in accounts receivable for Lessor leases
  • Expertise in the Lessor accounting and the Lease accounting standard
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • TRIRIGA, SAP
