Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
Power Platform Architect will support the strategic direction of the IT organization for low-code; define solution architecture framework to support Power Platform based solutions; provide leadership & oversight for Power Platform based application design and development; define & maintain Power Platform processes and controls; provide thought leadership for new and emerging Microsoft solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization. Provide insight to the strategic vision/plans/roadmap and identify key innovative technologies and product enhancements that improves customer experience and simplify current landscape.
- Provide leadership, oversight and guidance on Power Platform based scalable application design and development, serving as an expert on technical capabilities of the Power Platform. Provide vision; define system, data and application architecture, problem anticipation and problem solving ability across the landscape comprising different backends such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL or other databases and integrations with other systems using Azure Data Factory, Data Flows, Power Automate, Power BI, Data Gateways, Logic Apps, Azure Functions & REST API’s.
- Responsible for developing solution architecture framework to support Power Platform based solutions for core business functions, ensuring alignment with other products as well as the overall IT enterprise. Develop POC’s and Minimal Viable Product (MVP) to demonstrate the business value of Power Platform
- Design, document and maintain Power Platform processes, report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team.
- Establish a deep understanding of our customers’ business and technical needs and communicating key insights and findings to product team.
- Provide thought leadership for new and emerging Microsoft solutions including Power Platform, Azure Open AI, etc.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or a related field with at least 6 years relevant experience within the information technology field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise.
- 4+ years solution architecture experience with proven experience designing solutions for core business functions in the area of application architecture or low/no-code app delivery and administration.
- 2+ years of experience with designing software & hardware solutions used in large enterprises using Power Platform including Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps), Power Automate, CoPilot Studio (PVA), AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, Dataverse, etc. integration of Power Platform with other systems using Azure integration services or other API Management platforms, extending Power Platform using custom connectors, maintaining and managing Power Platform environments.
- Experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences.
- Proven experience with supporting large sized complex projects addressing issues & concerns to ensure project meet IT & business goals.
- Strong experience with aligning project solutions to overall corporate enterprise architecture.
- Work and communicate with a wide range of people – peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others. Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude, demeanor and discretion.
- Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with external constituent groups and customers.
Desired
- Advanced degree, e.g. Masters of Information Technology.
- Relevant Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, D365 and/or Azure/AWS cloud.
- Strong leadership and influence skills. Ability to work through issues independently with successful outcomes.
- Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
- Proactively identify key features, capabilities and areas of improvements needed within the products.
