The interns will support the Balanced Scorecard and Benchmarking processes in the complete, accurate and on-time development and completion of process outputs, inclusive of overall data validation, scorecard reporting and benchmark book support.  In addition, there is an expectation of completing specialized projects.  Projects may include but are not limited to:   1. Balanced Scorecard: Tableau Viz in Tooltip Metric Dashboard & Workbook Development

2. Balanced Scorecard: 2021 Redesign / Development

3. Benchmarking: Create Contact database in Access

4. Benchmarking: Create a Utility of the Future Peer Panel book with analytical graphs and trends in Tableau

5. Benchmarking: Line of Benchmarking Business Books

 Interns will be able to apply scholastic learning and expand knowledge through professional exposure and experience with the balanced scorecard, benchmarking and best practice, along with cutting edge and fundamental business technology, process thinking and learn how to succeed within a team environment. 


Design a data process, technology needs and documentation to support all aspects of the 2021 balanced scorecard development and Utility Peer Panel benchmarking process. Applying data management technology across the BI stack, conduct peer group analysis / validation, and support ad-hoc benchmark studies requested by Line of Business / Project managers.


Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Analytics, or similar related major. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Because this position will be travelling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record is required.

Preferred: 3.0GPA

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the internship. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.


As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
