 PSEG is seeking a summer 2021 intern for the Customer Assessment Market Research team within the Customer Operations group. The successful candidate will assist the Customer Assessment team with development, performance, analysis and delivery of market research and customer assessment data and findings.
 
Tasks may include:
•           Support the development of customer relationship strategy.
•           Direct and conduct marketing research and customer assessments.
•           Provide coordination and oversight of research efforts.
•           Work with business areas to assess needs for marketing and customer information.
•           Design and compose survey reports and questionnaires.
•           Develop and present research findings.
 
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.  PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.  
Candidates need to be able to meet deadlines, juggle competing priorities, operate independently while knowing when to ask for help or guidance, and view all work from a customer's perspective. Strong communication skills are critical, particularly written communication, and candidates with direct customer service experience are desired. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
 
Preferred Skills: Tableau; 3.0 GPA
 
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, or immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions now or in the future.

 

As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
