PSEG is seeking an Intern to help support the Continuous Improvement team.  The Continuous Improvement team works with management and business associates to improve the company’s business processes. Project initiatives include cost management, process performance & efficiency, process development, ownership alignment, and other operational initiatives.
 
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Business, Finance or similar related major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2019 and May 2020. Candidate must have completed junior level course work for consideration. Candidate must have demonstrated leadership, project management & public speaking skills with extensive experience in data analysis and problem solving. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration. 
 
Preferred Skills: Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis techniques. 3.5 GPA
 
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
