Coordinate execution and delivery of mapping requests for Utility, Power, Legal, and Corporate Real Estate projects.  Perform requirements gathering for project estimates and scope development. Provide direction to CAD drafters and survey suppliers. Support the department Manager and Project Surveyors to assure that projects are accurate and completed in a timely fashion. Complete plan reviews and submit comments for suppliers and drafters. Complete plan revisions in Microstation software. Review, verify, reconcile and process consultant proposals and invoices. Maintain project cash-flows and department reporting spreadsheets. 

 

Required Qualifications, Competencies, Education or Experience: 

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Five (5) years NJ land surveying experience
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Strong scheduling and project coordination ability
  • Proficiency in the use of Microstation
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment

 

Desired Qualifications, Competencies, Education or Experience:

 

  • NJ Land Surveying License (PLS)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Cartography or equivalent
