Job Summary
Reporting to the Document Control Manager this position has responsibility for providing and coordinating technical and administrative document support to Renewable & Energy Solutions (RES) Line of Business. Working on playbooks, desk instructions and projects relating to the development of RES OEM documentation including Core Functions, Processes, Procedures, Engineering Standards on a day-to-day basis integrating the contributions of other team members and management. Working closely with document owners, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and outside vendors. Able to organize, prioritize and work under tight schedules. Act as a RES Business Continuity Coordinator responsible for ensuring all business processes within their respective Business Units are documented, maintained, and exercised as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Work as an integral team member of the RES Document Control team having the responsibility to lead the production/trafficking of all production related requests for assigned RES OEM documentation to appropriate personnel and/or vendors.
- Create and manage schedules and workflows for all assigned documentation projects requiring reviewing, revising, developing new content, creating new graphics and/or correcting old versions, creating time-critical changes and publishing to SharePoint and Document Management System.
- Work closely with Document Control Manager, Program Owners, and SMEs as well as Technical Writers, and contractors in completing RES goals of reviewing, revising, and developing new content.
- Track status of all projects and update reports.
- Develop and continually update the BIA (Business Impact Analysis) and Business Continuity Plan annually or as needed.
- Conduct and participate in all exercises, and ensure they are conducted within required timeframes.

Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of degree 6 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience editing or publishing technical documents.
- Demonstrated proofreading experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Client oriented
- Experience working with SharePoint document management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and follow directions.
- Skilled in computer applications, including but not limited to MS Word, MS Visio MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and , SharePoint
Desired:
- Masters/MBA
- Experience leading documentation project teams
