PSEG is seeking an Intern within Delivery Projects and Construction to support the Public Affairs group in South Plainfield, NJ

 

The successful candidate will perform functions in support of a number of areas of including but not limited to: Public Affairs in support of the DP&C's public outreach group, supporting large scale transmission and sub-transmission projects.

 

As an employee of (PSE&G or PSEGLI), you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.

 

Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or similar related major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration.  

 

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.
